A one-bedroom villa with a king bed, a sofa at the window and a walled forecourt of its own. Fourteen of the fifty-five keys at Sree Raaga are built this way.
No corridors.
A lawn.
The villas run in a line along the garden, single storey, each under its own pitched roof with the rafter tails left showing. A path of stepping stones crosses the grass to a brick-paved forecourt that belongs to your villa and to nothing else. There is a lantern beside the door and a screen wall at the edge of the paving, which is the whole difference between a terrace and a corridor you happen to be standing in.
All of it is on the ground. No lift, no stairs, no landing to haul a bag up. You park, you walk across the garden, and you are inside.
Inside
Teak fluted panelling, a king bed on a low wooden platform, brass sconces, and a backlit jaali panel cut into the ceiling. A two-seater sofa sits at the window with a side table, which is the small thing that changes a room into somewhere you spend an evening rather than somewhere you sleep.
Along the far wall: a television on marble, a writing console, a fridge, and a tea and coffee tray that gets restocked every day. Wardrobe and dresser are both inside the room. Housekeeping comes daily, and there is room service if you would rather not walk over to the restaurant.
Fourteen villas,
not fourteen copies
They were not all built to one drawing. Most of the villas carry a flat ceiling with the lit jaali panel set into wooden battens. A few open straight up into the pitched roof, with dark timber rafters and terracotta tile left exposed above the bed, and a full-length dressing mirror instead of the marble television wall.
Same category, same rate, same everything that matters. But if you have a preference, say which one when you enquire and we will hold it for you where we can.
The bathroom
Attached, tiled floor to ceiling, with a granite-topped vanity, a framed mirror, a hairdryer on the wall and a walk-in shower area. Toiletries and fresh towels daily.
It is a clean, plain, working bathroom. There is no tub and no window, and we would rather you read that here than find it out at eleven at night.
If you are arriving for something
Honeymoons, anniversaries, the first night after a wedding on the lawn. Tell us before you arrive and the villa is dressed for it — towel work on the bed, fresh petals laid out by hand that morning, the lights taken down. It costs nothing extra, and it is the first thing guests photograph.
For a cake, a particular flower, or anything made to order, give us a few days. We are in a village. Specialty items come up from Bangalore or Budigere Cross, and a request made the same morning may genuinely not be possible — so ask early and it will be waiting.

Getting here
Twenty-five minutes from Kempegowda International Airport, which is the single most useful thing about where we are. Land, collect a bag, and be standing in a garden before you would have cleared the city.

Is breakfast really included?
Yes. Complimentary with every villa, every night, with no add-on fee. If you are booking a group and would rather it was left out — a lunch-focused event, say — we can take ₹200 off the rate instead.
How many people can stay in one villa?
Two adults as standard. An extra bed is ₹1,500 a night, subject to the villa. If you need more than that, book two villas next door to each other and tell us they are travelling together.
Does the rate go up at the weekend?
No. Our direct rate is ₹4,500 + 5% GST every day of the week. There is no weekend surcharge and no dynamic pricing on our own booking.
Is the villa on the ground floor?
Yes. All fourteen are single storey with their own entrance — no lift, no stairs, nothing to carry up. You park, walk across the garden, and you are inside.
Do the villas have a private pool?
No — that is the duplex, and there is only one of those. Villa guests use the main swimming pool, which is included in the rate.
Can you set the villa up for a honeymoon or an anniversary?
Yes, at no extra cost. Tell us when you book. For a cake, a specific flower or anything made to order, give us a few days — we are in a village, and specialty items come from Bangalore or Budigere Cross, so a request made the same morning may not be possible.
How far is the airport?
Twenty-five minutes from Kempegowda International Airport. Pickup and drop can be arranged on request when you book.
